I’ve tried all day to get my Sky network setup to connect to sky box

Every time I try and do this it tells me to press the WPS button on my router and guess what? There isn't one🤷🏻‍♀️ I've pressed the same button on the sky Q box to no avail. I can't download any apps and I've tried unplugging absolutely everything and that also doesn't work. Any ideas or suggestions?

There is, depending on the hub type if it's not on the front it's on the right hand side.

Thanks but I've tried that button on the sky Q box as stated above and have had no joy.

Should explain I have pressed the WPS button on the router and waited until everything goes green and it says "unsuccessful connection please try again, or you may need to connect a Sky Q Booster" how do I request one of those?

@CT07  You would need to call Sky and you would also need broadband boost.

You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.

If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
(UK) https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number
(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.

Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.

@CT07

Just to be clear, have you pressed the WPS button on both of the two devices (the Hub and the Q television box) in quick succession?  A button press on each individually doesn't do anything: it's doing both which tells them to set up a link.

Sky will loan booster hardware to resolve Q issues, but you'd need to call them.

I can't do that easily because the router is in one room and the box in another.
