I suffer with severe agoraphobia and have been left without internet or any service since the activation date which was around 2-3 weeks ago i believe. Since then Openreach have visited externally, an Engineer is booked with date 'pending' - which has been the case, despite numerous attempts of contact and emails to Sky. I rely heavily on the Internet and am currently spending 17GBP per day on 4G Data alone, when it comes to the end of the week - on top of your bill for Sky Broadband, Talk AND Stream (which I cannot recieve any), you would think perhaps providing a reason why this is the case? Instead of ignoring my emails for help and support. Or even better, please fix it and provide compensation for all the difficulty. this has caused me.

Today, I run out of 4G Data on my phone network. I was incredibly anxious, I live alone, and i had no way of obtaining more Data without using the Internet to purchase it. It took me 26 hours and most of my medication to be able to convnce myself I could walk to the Hotel one block away (which is exiting the house is excrutiating for me) and plead for them to let me use their WiFi so I could purchase even more Data. By the time I returned home my clothes were soaking wet from sweat because of my condition and fear of exiting the house. I only wanted more Data to complain to Sky and to request assistance from my Carer as I have been without food and basics. In short, this just really isn't on. Sky Accessible registered Customer... what for?

Where a new line is required there can be delays where the engineers hit snags. You will be due compensation which is calculated  once the line is up and running see Customer Auto-Compensation | Sky Help | Sky.com

 

Your mobile data costs seem very high as you can buy unlimited pay as you go sims for example https://www.4g.co.uk/news/unlimited-data-pay-as-you-go/

Bless you, I suffer the same and rely on my internet for everything like ordering tablets, shopping and such. Just wanted to say sorry you are going through this. I can't help as I'm just a customer like you xx
