I run our band's website, but I'm having problems with the VPN. Is Sky blocking this?

I run our band's website, but I'm having problems with the VPN. Is Sky blocking this?  I use Kaspersky on my desktop MS computer, but have had no problems updating the website for a few years. I have tried using Kaspersky's VPN Secure Connection app but it won't do anything when I hit the RUN button. Is SKY blocking me using this app? Without VPN working, FileZilla cannot function.

Any thoughts?

Typically ISPs don't block VPN use, and it would be relatively unusual to try to FTP over a separate SSL VPN.  SFTP (if supported by the hosting platform) is preferable.
