I regret ever changing to sky
I have had this WiFi for a day and yet over the past 2 weeks this company has made me want to rip out my hair from my scalp.I have never experience such terrible customer service in my life I had to call sky 5 times in the span of two days, in a single day I was transferred to not one, not, two, but THREE!!! Operators the day before that I called I asked where my WiFi router was and they said they hadn't shipped it even though when I placed the order they told me it would arrive in 3 business days, I left it and thought you know what they will ship it today but to my "surprise" it hadn't been shipped at this point I started to get annoyed but I didn't complain, the deal for WiFi I got was supposed to come with a £60 gift card but to my "surprise" it hasn't been sent 7 days later I have received my WiFi to be specific I received it yesterday, We were promised 60mbps download speed but what do you know that was another falsehood told to me by this company and I don't use that word lightly the download speed wasn't even 30mbps no it was 19.2mbps I tested this three times to make sure and to my ultimate "surprise" again it remained the same for all three tests, I decided to leave it as I had just got the WiFi I'm sure it will work better later on right? right? Why am I not surprised the WiFi keeps turning off we followed the instructions correctly while setting it up so I know I did nothing wrong on my end so that leaves it to the company,it keeps flashing orange malfunctioning and not working even when on green it's so bad I'm using my data to type this out. I'm so disappointed as the deal was so inticing but I should have known better it's to the point where posting this on here is most likely useless eitherway i would not recommend this company to anybody not even my worst enemy.

Re: I regret ever changing to sky
@FionaNjiri if you are within the first 14 days of you service you can cancel without any charges as you are in the statutory cooling off period.
Fortunately your experience is not common as Sky rate well for service against their competiors when measured by the regulator Ofcom see this report https://www.ofcom.org.uk/__data/assets/pdf_file/0030/237639/comparing-customer-service-report-2022.p...
It is unfortunate you did not find this forum earlier as many of your issues could have been avoided with support from forum members.. Hopefully you can find an ISP that can provide the service you seek.

Gift cards and similar incentives typically aren't dispatched or applied until after the cooling-off period has come to an end, for fairly obvious reasons.
