I pay for the fastest fibre yet I can barely game in my bedroom two floors up can you send boosters?

I upgraded to the fastest fibre and yet I still can't game in my bedroom two floors up. Can you send me boosters or another way to fix this?

High speed to the Hub over optical fibre is no help at all if a wireless signal cannot get through building fabric.

Sky loans wireless booster hardware free under the terms of the 'WiFi Guarantee' element of 'Broadband Boost' and the 'Enhanced Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' part of the 'WiFi Max' subscription supplement: they don't otherwise provide or sell them except to resolve issues with Sky Q. Inevitably some have leaked onto a certain auction site, but Sky won't offer support with using these. 

Confusingly the 'Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' doesn't actually provide booster hardware, and is essentially a sales lead generator for the supplements mentioned above.

Note however that booster use will knock game performance.

I'd suggest there's not much point moaning about fundamental physics: it's like complaining about gravity when you drop something.

The best solution for gaming is always a cabled connection to the router: ethernet is preferable, but Powerline networking may be viable.
