Discussion topic: I need to change my public IP address for security reasons. How do i do this?

I have tried turning off all power for hours as i see that people have posted that as a dynamic IP it would gererate a new one but it hasnt

Can anyone help?

The only other way people have had success is by going to the routers admin interface > Maintenance > Scroll down > Show statistics > Click disconnect then connect
