It is possible to plug a USB printer into the laptop and then share it, (same as you share folder access).  The main problem is that the laptop would need to be on for other computers to access the printer.  If you look up “shared printer” on Google, they’ll be plenty of instructions about.  It’s fairly straightforward.

I'm not aware of any black Sky Hub model with a USB port.  There's a BT phone jack socket on the Sky Broadband Hub which is approximately the same rectangular shape.

@mormegil @Broadband hub has a power point,  it does not use the USB connection
