I’m paying for service I don’t have

I signed up for sky ultrafast 3 months ago and a month later engineers arrived to connect the fibre. But they had a problem and needed to come back with more men. They never came back. Then a month ago an engineer arrived to connect to the house and said he could only do the house end as there was no fibre supply but the engineers should be here following week. They never came. I've been paying for ultrafast for 3 

months now and now they want the old equipment back which would give us no internet at all. I've called sky complaints 3x and the last time gave up after 20 minutes of music.

We are  all fellow customers on here like yourself, you  need to call sky about this and talk to an advisor hopefully that will sort your problems, or i  can escalate  this to the message team

After 2 hours of bot chats and then real people chats they finally gave a me a number with only a 15 minute wait. THe engineers are coming again to connect on 24 July. But its a morning of my life I wont get back and when you get to my age any time is precious. Ive been a sky customer for over 25 years.

@greegmooseley You can also sort out the overpayment if that has been applied, until your service is active, then that is the start payment date nothing else! Just be prepared for the phone call waits again!
