I'm about to contact a lawyer
When I was sold this joke of a service no one bothered to check if my home was even wired up for it leading to the instalation being canceled and another engineer equaly unprepaired turning up. I had to help install the new cable from a local pole, nearly got draged off a ladder to my death and then the modem was put in the most inconvenient place possiable. On top of that the wifi hardly works despite paying extra for a booster. I'm collecting evidence, my neighbours saw me up the ladder as the cable nearly destroyed their shed roof, the old one is still just lying where he left it in my drive. So I suggest someoine from sky gets intouch soon or the next thing you'll be getting will be legal proceedings. Also I've tried complaining about this before and the post seems to have been deleted so I'm screenshoting this one.

Re: I'm about to contact a lawyer
@jc91
If you’re not already aware this is a customer helps customer forum and you aren’t contacting Sky Customer Services. No one will contact you as the result of your post, in fact no one knows who you are.
Why on earth have you gone up a ladder to 'assist' the Openreach enginner? That's entirely your choice and therefore your responsibility.

Re: I'm about to contact a lawyer
@jc91 No one from Sky can or will get in touch on the back of a community post from an unlinked account. You can't raise a complaint htrough a public community as no one will be able to deal with it, have you tried the links at the bottom of the page for example this one? https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-customer-complaints-code-of-practice/
This explains how to correctly raise a complaint.
However the fact you went up a ladder to mess with Openreach equipment may leave you liable for doing so, no customer should even be touching anything that belongs to the network, you risked your own life doing so, that is not Sky's problem, it's yours.

Re: I'm about to contact a lawyer
I don't think admitting to the action you've taken on a public forum and presumably without any of the safety equipment and training the engineer will have undertaken will help your case, in fact quite the opposite.

Re: I'm about to contact a lawyer
Is this the "deleted" post, where you were offered help but apparently didn't respond?

Openreach or Sky personnel?
Neither should have permitted a civilian to 'help'.
