I have upgraded my broadband and speed has stayed the same

Has anyone had this issue, i have upgraded my broadband package and there has been no change to average speed

As @Highlinder indicates, there's not enough information there for anyone to help.  For example, have you actually upgraded, or ordered an upgrade from FTTC to FTTP which requires infrastructure work before anything can change?
