I have just changed internet providers and can’t keep sky mini box connected

I I have recently change internet provider and I can't keep my sky mini box connected. I connect it to sky q and then go to mini box and change channel and looses connection. I have even plugged the mini box straight into the router in there and it still happens. All other devices are working fine. Any ideas why sky box won't stay connected?
