Find out more@Vesta the online test in the My Sky app initially shows results from a test run routinely once a day to get the current position you need to click to get it to run again. It mainly checks the broadband connection to the hub but willgo on and test the wifi connection in your home but that is often not 100% complete.
If the issue is as it sounds with the WiFi connection to your Sky Glass TV there are a few steps you can take yourself. First if the TV does not connect on start up go into the Settings go to Start Up and Standby and enable the option to remain networked in stand by it is also worth turning off the power saving option which makes little difference to ppwer usage but can stop the set coming out of standby ready to go.
If that does not solve the issue it could simply be thst the WiFi signal getting to the TV is not strong enough. Signal strength is down to the layout and type of construction in your home and many homes need more than a single free isp router to get decent wifi in every room.. sky sell add-ons you can buy like Sky WiFi max which can have extenders if they are required. Alternatively where practical using ethernet cables to the TV are far more reliable.
