I have been waiting 4 months for sky broadband. Noone knows what is going on

I have been waiting since October 16th for Sky to install broadband. I got one message from Openreach with a date, waited in all day and noone arrives. Ever since then, I have been calling trying to request updates. Noone knows anything, I get passed from department to department, person to person and its infuriating. On top of this, Sky TV claims I have received the Sky Cube I ordered (which has never arrived) but continue to charge me for access to the tv package. Furthermore, in mid December the Sky TV people came and said we can't install the service and left. They said they cannot install it, and that I need broadband which I have been waiting for since October 16th.

In mid Jan, I ring Sky again, they advise me to cancel this order and place a new one. I did that and was given today (11/02/2025) as my new installation date. I wait in and again, no engineer arrives, no update and noone I speak to knows whats going on. It has been 4 months now I have been waiting for broadband. Is this normal?!!! it is ridiclous, and I have spent over £200 now on EE wifi vouchers or buying more data. 

What is going on SKY????

Still waiting and also still being charged for the TV package that I am not able to access

@soprog  Did you engage with sky on the chat invite that was sent to you on the 12th February if so what was said

Hello, yes I did. They couldn't help at all with the issue relating to Broadband, just have to wait further and have been told I should receive an update by the 25th. 

In terms of TV, yet again there were no notes on the system, they suggested I get in touch with another department of Sky (presumably Tv or Tv cancellations). The chat was unavailable so I rang them, and spent about 30 minutes on the phone before the phone cut out. Now I am on the phone yet again trying to sort it out
