I am moving home next week. Have given the dates so why do I have to wait an extra week to get connected. There's no reason. Am I being charged for that week as well

@ChrisR4 Because openreach needs a minimum lead time of two weeks to prepare the connections sky has no control over this
you can ask sky about the possibility of a credit for time without service once you are connected
