I have a weak signal in one room and someone suggested to change from 5ghz to 2.5ghz.

I have a weak signal in one room and someone suggested to change from 5ghz to 2.5ghz.

I have logged into the router and find that it appears to be set to Auto. Should I change this?

I don't want to move my router and am not intending to get a booster at this stage.

I have the router that stands up.

@JilllsIt should make no difference although 5Ghz may have a shorter range due to thickness of walls etc.

I would talk to Sky, I am assuming they are your broadband provider, to see what they can do to help.

They say this.
