I have Internet for the last hour so ihave no security at my home.

I also have no internet again. It's a recurring thing in a night where the wifi hub shows a orange light instead of green and there is no internet connection.

At that time of night it could be maintenance taking place. This is carried out overnight to keep disruption to a minimum as most customers are asleep. If it hasn't returned by 7ish in the morning contact Sky to report it.

Note that no domestic broadband guarantees continuous connection (not can it do so) and consequently it can't be considered a security solution.
