I got Sky Broadband GIGAFAST but it’s rubbish

I paid extra for Sky Broadband Gigafast 2 weeks ago.  The download speed is only 200MBP/s but the app says it's fine and I'm finding that working from home is rubbish.  So not sure what's going on.

You need to give more context. Are you using wifi or Ethernet. Can your device connect at 1Gig to said device. Depending on what WiFi devices you are using 200Mbps sounds ok. But if your on Ethernet then like I said. You need to specify what specs and hardware you're using.

@J-PG it is possible to get 900Mb/s in every room over WiFi but you will need deep pockets as the fastest Sky will guarantee is 25Mb/s if you pay for their WiFi Max bundle. As @McGrath1982 points out 200Mb/s is more than enough for most business or domestiv apps which rarely sctually can use more than 100Mb/s. Alterntively you could wire your home with gigabit ethernet cable which is by far the best connection for business use.

Work out what speeds you need where as a Gigabit service is far more about number of users who can use the connection at the sametime than the speed anyone device needs.
