I feel as if I have missing cables for broadband
My activation date is today I got a message saying it is activated however on the set up guide it says I need a purple wire which I do not have

A cable with a purple RJ11 plug would be appropriate for an FTTC connection to an Openreach wall socket.
For FTTP, the connection is by ethernet cable to an Openreach ONT ('fibre modem')
