I cant't select the Full Fibre 500 package

Hi, I'm interested in the Full Fibre 500 broadband, but it looks like it isn't currently an option at my address. I went to a SKY store, and they told me I just need to wait for it to become available. Is there anything you could do to speed this up? For example, could a technician be booked to come out and make a faster speed available to me?

Hi @Andrzej84

Availability of Full Fibre is dictated by the network operator in your area, this is likely Openreach but could also be EIR if your in Ireland, KCOM if your in the Hull area or CityFibre if your in a CityFibre area. Sky cannot sway the speed of deployment to your area unfortunately.

If your in an Openreach area you can go to this site, use the address checker and then post the resulting table back here and we can see exactly whats available to your address.

You can also go to this site and see when Openreach might plan on deploying Full Fibre to your area.

This is Openreach and I checked by UPRN number. A city like Cardiff should't have a problem with accessibility.                                                                    Here are the data:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Zrzut ekranu 2025-11-11 o 19.05.00.png

On the contrary: dense urban environments full of legacy infrastructure present very real obstacles to deploying an entirely new cabled network.  Openreach is working to the national target of having 85% of UK households within reach of full-fibre by the end of 2026, and there may be altnet providers choosing to invest in your area too.

@Andrzej84 Lines underneath the chart are what is important, yes you can have a FF feed, the way with all below, congested duct and it's a how long is a piece off string, has been known to take a year, that one i can for sure say too!

@Andrzej84

The table shows only FTTC availability, using the other Openreach site I posted, you may be able to get a bit of info as to when you might expect FTTP deployed in your area.
