I can access the Sky Hub router information page using 192.168.0.1 but I cannot access any of the settings. If i click on any of the menu or top bar items i just get:
401 Unauthorised
Authorisation required.
I do not get asked to log in and I cannot see anywhere to sign in on the page. Can anyone help?

@WildLizzie there are instructions to change the admin password in the link I posted the setting is in Maintenance/Set Password.
The issue you had will be a restriction your employer's IT have set while there is no security risk in accessing non https: sites on tge local network they look to have set a global restriction.

Re: I can't access any router settings
thank you @cookiemonsteruk
I was using Edge, and also found the same issue on Chrome. I have now tried it on a different device and I have received the prompt for credentials. So I think it must be settings on the device causing the issue. I dont think I will be able to use that device to log in at all.
So now I have to figure out what the log in is...

Re: I can't access any router settings
@Petepete11 there is a known issue between the Hub's interface and Apple devices running ios. If at all possible use a device not running ios if you can't Chrome can work but requires multiple attempts in my experience. Sky are aware of the issue but seem unable to resolve it.

Re: I can't access any router settings
thanks @cookiemonsteruk and @Chrisee.
I haven't been using any Apple devices or software.
When using my work (Windows) laptop, using both Edge and Chrome, I just get a 401 error if I try to access anything and therefore I cannot log in and cannot manage the hub.
When I tried it from my mobile phone - Samsung Internet - I got the prompt to log in and that was OK.
So I think it must be some conflict with the internet security software my work has installed, which is ironic becasue I wanted to access my hub to change my passwords, as per company guidance!
When i managed to log in on my phone, I could not find any way to change the Admin username and password. This should really be different to the network encryption password that's used to connect devices. But I could not see any options for the Admin log in detail.
What with this and the issues with connecting to the hub in the first place, its almost like Sky dont want us to have good security!

Re: I can't access any router settings
I have a similar issue except I cant see a maintenace button anywhere which prevents me from checking my firmware is the latest. I also cant get any tests beyond the basic.
Laptop i7, 32gb Ram, Firefox, Sky Fibre 100 to 150 mb/s wifi 6 and hub is compatible.
Sometimes shows speeds slower than copper wired. Still waiting on Sky to resolve the speed issue, one month refunded so far due to low speeds

Re: I can't access any router settings
@ukbod Sky control the firmware releases automatically but it is highly unlikely thst a speed issue is related to the firmware. If you would like help from forum members please post your hub's connection stats see Find your Sky Broadband router statistics

Re: I can't access any router settings
It turns out that my broadband wasnt activated. I was due to be installed on 10/4 but when engineer arrived no hub had arrived so he managed to acquire one from a nearby colleague. The original hub arrived the next day so I handed it straight back to the delivery guy. When it arrived back at Sky someone decided I didnt want broadband and didnt activate the broadband. I have been labouring on trying to resolve a number of issues leaving me with copper wire speeds. We finally sorted it yesterday when I got hold of a much promised Tech guy. I`ve been running at much reduced speeds for 62 days so I guess I have a few refunds coming under the speed guarantee.
