I am trying to set up sky broadband in my new house.

I have ordered sky broadband in to my new house but then got a message saying there was a problem. When I called sky they said the existing provider wont let them take over the service. This is despite no one living in the house anymore as I have just bought it. I contacted the seller who chased up BT who said they have no service going in to the house. What on earth can I do? Sky keep repeating the same thing and I don't know how to break through this labyrinth

Your best option would be to order a new line from Sky rather than ordering to the exisiting line.
