Although nog a new printer it should still work. I have a HP series fax/printer/copier. Where willi find my IP address? Any help for an aging pensioners would be appreciated. Thanks.

@Glo01 as a fellow pensioner who has spent more hours than I wanted doing exactly what you are trying to do I have a few hints. You do not need the IP address thst will be assigned by the Sky hub automatically once it connects. The simplest method is to use wps mode as explained here  https://support.hp.com/hr-en/document/ish_4641127-4645964-16 all Sky hubs support wps you just press the wps button (on the upright hubs its on the right hand edge) until the led starts flashing.

If still stuck it is worth resetting the printer back to its default settings check HP's website on how to do that for your model. Tgat may sort it and you will find it connects. Howevervif it doesn't connectvthe printer by a USB cable to a PC and update its firmware and try again. If you use a laptop the printer software may offer to share the wifi settings with the printer.
