I am due to have fibre installed on Friday. I got a package with just some wires in it, should I have also got a new router?

Was it an empty Hub box or a packet with an ethernet cable in it?

The Sky Broadband Hub is compatible with FTTP: the ethernet cable 'conversion kit' goes between it and the ONT.

There was no box in the envelope just cable.
