The hub should have come with a leaflet explaing how to plug it in and the cables are colour coded so purpke plug goes into a purple socket etc if you have lost the leaflet this page https://www.sky.com/help/articles/set-up-hub-which-sky-hub-do-you-have has step bt step instructions.
