Hub not arrived, activation tomorrow

Hello.

 

I am due to switchfrom BT to Sky tomorrow. I have an utterly useless postal worker that refuses to use my doorbell, this has ment I have missed delivery of my hub as I didn't hear their pathetic little tap on the door. They can't re-deliver the package until Friday.

 

Is there a way I can postpone the switch until Friday? Or am I going to have to put up with no internet for 24 hours?

Did they not leave a card to let you collect it from the local PO? Thats what should happen. Otherwise you'll have to put up with no internet now as its less than 24hrs from activation.

Did they not leave a card to let you collect it from the local PO? Thats what should happen. Otherwise you'll have to put up with no internet now as its less than 24hrs from activation.

They left a card stating I had to re-arrange delivery.

 

I don't know if I can just go and collect the package from the office, and can't check until tomorrow as the Delivery office closes at 10am, which is a farce in itself. 

 

I will head down there in the morning to check.

I wouldn't bother sky are totally useless just keen to flog you new packages which are "so

easy to set up from the box" NOT

@Dorsetdude not sure why you feltvthe need to post in a thread sbout delays in delivery of a hub some months after the last post when you had an active thread discussing your problem which is entirely different.
