How to find out if Open Reach are actually working on my case

Broadband connection has been dropping out intermittently for a couple of weeks. Followed the self help steps, not fixed so scheduled an Open Reach engineer to visit yesterday afternoon 1-6pm. At 4pm had a test to say the engineer had started work but may not be at my house as may be working on the network, but would still need to visit the property before completion.

Still having same issues today and in my Sky Account Orders show the visit as 'in progress' and the service checker shows there is still a fault. I don't need to cancel or rearrange the engineer, I just want to get an update on what they have done or still need to do.  How can I do this?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

Personally I would leave it to tomorrow to see if the fault has been foxed, if it hasn't then see what the status says and finally if it says the same then contact Sky to see if they can get an update from Openreach for you.

Re: How to find out if Open Reach are actually working on my case

The engineer was due on Wednesday so it's already been left a full day today and still not resolved or updatd. The problem is I can't find a way to speak to a real person at sky.  The chat bot isn't understanding my question
