How long can the optical pigtail be on full fibre 300 installation.

I am having a new full fibre 300 installation tomorrow.

My preferred location for the ONT is about 15m from where I guess they will put the CSP. Is that ok or is it too far?

Thanks for any help

@greenbike  As far as I'm aware it is preferred to place the hub near the CSP.

You could purchase a sufficient length ethernet cable so you can place the hub wherever you prefer it to be.

@greenbike the standard Openreach fibre pigtail is around 10 metres long but longer ones are available but the engineer is under time pressure.  Routing fibre is not the same as running standard cable as the glass fibre cannot be bent round tight corners. Talk to the engineer about what you want but it is probably easier to have the ONT mounted near the entry point and then for you to connect the hubusing a longer ethernet cable as @GD1 suggests.
