How does switching from Sky satellite broadband to fibre broadband work?

Fibre broadband is available for pre-order in my area and I would like to switch from Sky satellite to sky fibre. I can't find the option to do that on their website. Also, does the price for fibre broadband include sky talk or do I have to pay for the landline in top? I don't need a landline and would like to get rid of the additional cost.

@Angelika2  You can't switch from satellite to fibre as satellite is tv not broadband try searching for switch from sky ADSL to sky Fibre

@SKY1992bf thanks you're right😌 had that mixed up. Nevertheless the chat bot didn't know in the slightest what I was talking about when I asked about switching from ADSL to fibre. And I can't find it on their website. I'm in the ROI . Perhaps it's different here.

@Angelika2

If FTTC or FTTP is available at the address then you'll see Superfast (up to 80Mbs) or Ultrafast (up to 900Mbs) broadband packages on sale when you do an address lookup on an ISP website.

If there's nothing better than Essential available (up to 24Mbs) then the only infrastructure locally is ADSL.

You need a data bearer circuit though, and that's what the 'line rental' element of a broadband subscription covers.
