How do I extend my Sky broadband to outdoor garden room
We have a garden room and I want to be able to receive a WiFi connection from our Sky broadband in the garden room. What equipment do I need and can I book a Sky engineer to set it up?
Thanks
John

Re: How do I extend my Sky broadband to outdoor garden room
@John483 by far the best thing is to run an ethernet cable from the hub to your garden room. This iisnt a serrvice Sky offer but you should find a company locally used to doing such work.
The alternative if the garden room is on the hiuse's mains power is to buy a pair of powerline adapters that send the data over the mains wiring. One plugs into a wall socket near tge hub and linked to the hub by ethernetthe second plugs into a socket in the garden room. You can but the adapters with a built-in wifi access point. Plan on getting roughly 30% of the rated speed of the adapter it msy be lower or a bit hugher but you never get 100%.
65inch Sky Glass, 3 Sky Streaming Pucks, Sky Ultrafast + and Sky SR213(white Wifi Max hub) main Wifi from 3 TP-Link Deco M4 units in access point mode
