Depending on which hub you have, these are set by default to:

  • Username: admin
  • Password: sky or the WiFi password on the back of your hub.

If these don’t work, when trying to login to 192.168.0.1 to change your hub settings, reset your hub.

Reset your hub

How you reset your hub depends on which hub you have.

Reset a Sky Hub, Sky Q or Sky Broadband Hub (your hub’s black)

  1. Hold Reset on the back of your hub for about 30 seconds or until the lights on the front blink.
  2. Wait for the power, wifi and internet lights to go green again.
  3. After your hub has reset and the lights have gone back to normal, switch it off and on again at the mains. It’s to make sure you can still make and receive calls.

Good to know: This will reset all your hub settings including your WiFi password, so if you've changed it from the default you'll need to change it again.

Reset a Sky Max Hub (your hub’s white)

  1. Hold the WPS button on the side of your hub for 30 seconds.
  2. Your hub light will flash green for a few minutes.
  3. When it turns white, check your broadband is working.

Changed your WiFi name or password? It’ll take a few more minutes for these to update on your hub again after it’s reset.
