How Do I Open Spotify Ports?

Hi.  I'm having trouble opening ports to play Spotify through my Linn Majik DSM.  My Sky router is a SR203 typ.  I am on a Family Premium Spotify account so this should be allowed.  The Majik is on my LAN on a fixed IP address and works fine with local control.  Spotify is enabled within the Majik management via Konfig.

I think I know what I am looking for.  I have found the port forwarding section of the Sky router management and I need to open ports TCP:4070 and UDP:4070.  The only options I seem to find are for opening "ALL" TCP or "ALL" UDP ports.  Nothing I seem to do allows me to specify port 4070.

What is it I am missing here?

I've moved forwards a little.  I have found the Services area and set up a general Spotify TCP/UDP:4070 service.  There is nowhere to put in the IP address of the Majik.

Re: How Do I Open Spotify Ports?

Thanks for the help Mae-3.  I now have it working.

I had everything right but I didn't have a clear enough picture of what was going on in my head.  I had the service defined but I don't think I had completed setting up the forwarding of that port to the Majik.  I read up a little in the area you pointed me to and repeated some of the steps making sure I had the correct port info and - - - it still didn't work.

It looked as though the Majik had a fault which prevented Spotify from seeing it but it was usable from its own software and showed up just as it should in my network management tools.  The blindingly obvious thing to do was - - every network support advisor's standard advice - - - restart the machine!  Duurrrhhhh!  That done and it popped up immediately intol the Devices list.  It's playing now.

Thanks for your reply.  The help is much appreciated.
