I've been asked to housesit my mums house while she goes away for a holiday. She subscribes to basic Sky TV, and Sky provide her phone line but she doesn't have broadband at her home.
I subscribe to Sky Broadband, and I want to know if I can take my Sky router with me while she's away and use it by connecting it to her telephone line while I look after her house? Will it work??

No, that's simply not possible your broadband is a physical connection between your home & the local cabinet/exchange, it cannot follow you around by taking your hub with you.
