I have just moved house and am trying to set up my Hive thermostat.
I am plugging in the hive hub in to the sky broadband hub via ethernet and leaving it to automatically connect. However, it never does connect.
Upon looking at the rear of the sky hub each ethernet port I connect the hive hub to glows orange (even in to the port that has a green glowing light with another stable connection). I cannot set up my heating system and have no idea how to resolve this.
I have looked through a few other threads but couldn't find the answer so would appreciate any assistance!

The orange light indicates a 100Mbps connection, which is right for the Hive hub.
The rest of it is down to Hive, nothing to do with Sky. If you're adding the Hive hub to an exisiting Hive setup you'll need to factory reset ALL the Hive kit and start from scratch, adding the Hive hub BEFORE any thermostats or controllers. If you're lucky that might work.
Best of luck, you'll need it. I suggest you go to the Hive site and seek help there....

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@landodoodle seems a common issue which I had myself at one point. The Hive hub is very fussy so try another LAN port on the hub. My issue sorted itself after a number of reboots of both the hub and the Hive hub. I found Hive support partuicularly clueless.
Hope you get it sorted.
