Hisense TV won't automatically reconnect to Sky Router after power off?

Recently rejoined Sky Broadband and have the black SR203 router.  My Hisense TV (50A7GQTUK) connected fine to the router, however  after it's been powered off it doesn't automatically connect to the WiFI when powered back on.  Sometimes it just will, but most times it doesn't and I have to manually connect it from the TV settings.

Seems really odd.  I've had two other routers/ISPs with this TV and never had an issue so I'm thinking it must be something to do with the Sky Hub?  Be greatful for any ideas, not the end of the world but fruustrating!

@MiniCheddar it is unlikely to be a hub issue if it only affects the TV. It is worth rebooting the TV which requires you to unplug the power until tge power led goes out as thst can sort all sorts of gremlins. It is also an idea the check the TV's network settings to see if there is an option to stay networked in standby.

Thanks for your response.

I tend to turn the TV off at the wall each night, which I'm assuming doesn't help things. But I also think it must be also to do with the Sky Hub, or more likely some interface issue between the two.  The TV has been fine uo to now with 2 other different routers, even when turning off at the wall each night it had no problems reconnecting. The behaviour only started when the Sky Hub was set up.

@MiniCheddar If you continue to have trouble with the TV it may be worth try to split out the bands off the SR203 to see if the TV prefers one over the other. Some devices just do not play nicely with each other...

@MiniCheddar unplugging modern TVs is not recommended and indeed is likely to make things worse in terms of connecting to the network. Modern TVs use minimal power (around 1w) in standby and are designed to be powered at all times.. There is one thing you can try if you have the white Sky hub which is to step down the WiFi security level from the default WPA3-T to the older WPA2 level as some devices can have issues coping with the higher security level. The setting is in the hub's advanced settings in the My Sky app.
