Hi my sky Internet isnt working upstairs. How do i fix it.

My sky Internet isn't working upstairs. Can u help me please.  I have a small white box attached to my wall in the hall. Can I fix it with that.

@Twomey  Is your router connected to that white box and does it say anything on the white box at all?

Hi there's 4 green lights on the small white box in the hall. But only 1 is flashing there's light on the power and the pon and no light in the Los.

@Twomey  That is the ONT, that is nothing to do with your Wi-Fi. Sounds like you might need some sort of booster. Can you tell us which router Sky sent you from the link below.

Unfortunately WIFI isn't a perfect solution. There are issues with range and the composition of your house/flat, interferance from neighbours, walls and metal mesh will also degrade or even block your WIFI signal. In such cases you will need a WIFI repeater which will, as it says on the tin it repeats the existing signal strengthening it.

Sky do sell their own repeaters:

Sky Broadband Boost | Sky Help | Sky.com

 

They cost more but are a simpler solution. My advice is how technically confident are you? If not go with sky otherwise shop around for a cheaper deal.
