Hi does anyone know if I can connect a DSL cable to my hub instead of connecting it to my ONT Port.

Hi,

I've just ordered the sky hub and it says I need to connect it to my ONT port sadly the hub won't fit as there is no sockets or space for it to be connected to.

Is it possible to use an out her wire to connect to the internet from the sky hub instead of the ONT port?

I've seen a DSL wire will work, any advice?

thanks

Unclear what you mean, but Hubs must be connected correctly for broadband to function.

If you have FTTP, there must be an ONT, and an ethernet cable must connect an ethernet port on the ONT to an ethernet port on the Hub.

For ADSL and FTTC, the data port on the master phone socket (or a plug in microfilter) must go the the modem port on the Hub.

Having 'no sockets or space for it to be connected' suggests you are looking at the wrong thing.  A photograph might help us understand.
