Hi I have had sky broadband for about a month now, being with a different provider before this,

Hi I have never had a problem with WiFi coverage in my teenagers room before changing to sky about 3 weeks ago, I have followed all the usual steps, the router is out and nothing is surrounding it etc, it's fine in the lounge; kitchen and other bedroom, but for some reason it keeps dropping in my teens room! She uses Xbox to stream movies, also uses her phone for social media etc, please help! It's not the speed that's an issue, it just totally drops out!

Each provider has a different router so its quite normal to switch and find that coverage/speed is not the same.

It sounds like you may need a booster.

You would need the broadband boost addon which is a paid subscription yes.

Alternatively you can look at other solutions like 3rd party extenders or powerline. To be quite honest if the problem is an Xbox dropping off powerline would be the most appropriate solution instead of a booster.
