Having to manually connect to WiFi every time

We are having to manually connect to WiFi every time we wake up our devices, despite it being a saved network with auto join on our devices. 

This is a new issue since we've got back from holiday. 

I've tried restarting the router but it didn't work and the self service testing says everything is fine. 

Can anyone help?
