Having a problem with bad packet loss in call of duty

Hello all, I appreciate that you guys may not be computing or game experienced; however this is my last hope i suppose. I'm willing to follow any instructions needed to try and get this fixed!

I got in contact with Activision (call of duty) to see if this was something on their end but they have gotten me absolutely no where (shock).

when I'm playing the game during the beginning it's very laggy and then randomly through the game I'll lag and teleport around the map with it saying latency variation, extrapolation and packet loss. Then my game will disconnect me saying I've lost connection. I can send a video for a more clear understanding if need be 🙂 . I am fairly sure it isn't my pc as I recently got a new one and it happenes on both.

Any advice at all I'll be willing to take, if you have any contacts for trouble shooters let me know. I want to get this sorted fast as it's the only thing my old school mates can play now a days!

@Neena77 As you are gaming, take it that your PC is connected direct to your sky hub with a Ethernet cable!

Re: Having a problem with bad packet loss in call of duty

Yes, indeed it is, I use Ethernet fully connected. I've tried with and with out it's the same outcome no matter what. I switched over to mobile data and that fixed the problem I was having but it was just very laggy still as i was using my phone, I've come to the conclusion it's probably my WiFi in some way. If reset and reboot my router but that didn't seem to fix it if you or anyone else had a possible idea on fixing it let me know! Thanks 🙂

@Neena77 Do you feel that you could post the stat's just as you see on the link that is below, so i can take a look at the condition and the type off line that you have. give it a minute once you get to them to fill up with some data!

How to read your Sky Hub statistics

@Neena77 Also in the meantime to do a real test, all your wireless devices off, or disable the wireless on the hub, network connected PC only to the hub and see how it goes with one device only. Not going to rule out yet anything PC or Hub wise! SR203 Sky Broadband Hub is not bad hub at all for an ISP supplied!

@Neena77 Will take a look as soon as the picture is cleared for viewing! Also if you can run this speed test and link the result for viewing.

Re: Having a problem with bad packet loss in call of duty

@Neena77 Speed test looks good and steady, on a FF150/30 split and pretty much maxed it out, stat's also good apart from the packet collisions on the Lan Network, what is connected to that device wise and number off ports used, etc!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

@Neena77 the number of packet collisions showing on your stats is a symptom of network issues. Do you have Sky Q boxes by any chance if so how are these networked and is the PC's wifi connected at the sametime as the ethernet?

@Neena77 And are you dual networking on the gaming PC at the same time! And when you report both do you also mean another gaming device as a comparison!
