Hardly any WiFi or none at all
We've had many issues since joining Sky, for example never being sent one and then getting a used one that didn't work ect...
There's 3 of us in the flat and none of us can keep the WiFi in our bedrooms.
The connection works better with a laptop or iPad but phones are a no go. We're constantly on our 4g as the WiFi won't even load most of the time.
Im currently in the flat by myself with no other devices connected and it's still not working/ reaching my room and I'm the closest to the hub!
There is supposed to be a guarantee for each room but whenever I do the broadband test and WiFi check is says it's working fine even though I'm not even able to connect to it!
At this point I don't know if it's better finding a different broadband that can reach further or to see if sky can provide a free booster.
but the trouble is, sky is voted best in my area?

Re: Hardly any WiFi or none at all
@Becky15 flats are particularly difficult for WiFi as you can have around 8 other networks in range so interference is almost inevitable. That makes the 2.4GHz band essentially useless so you tend to rely on the 5GHz band which has less range. Installing a Wifi Analyzer app on a.phone will show you all of tge networks in range with the channel they are in and dignal strength which can help finding the best one to use.
If phones are not connecting check their settings as many phones default to switching to using mobile data if speeds are faster than over WiFi for example iPhones call it it WiFi Assist and the switch is buried right at the bottom of the Mobile Data settings.
