Had Fibre installed 5 days ago. Wi-Fi not working. Is this normal?

I read that Fibre speeds will be up and down for 10 days but not sure if that also means WiFi. Can't see anything online about that.

checked on the Sky app and it says "Wi-Fi is working" well but it isn't. It is connected but pages don't load. I have tried everything including logging in and out etc. please help

Thanks

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

@SFW Sky donsay that connection speeds to the hub can vary in the first 10 days which is true for servicescover copper phonelines but not for full fibre. Speeds over wif in your home are outside their control as they are down to the layout and type of construction of your home and the level of interference. In many homes a single wifi router is insufficent to provide fast wifi in every room.

Sky sell an add on package called Wifi Max which can help,as they will supply up to 3 extenders if they agree you need them. Alternatively you can buy third party kit.

Thanks for the reply. The Wifi was working fine on sky broadband but yet on Fibre it has stopped working.

Can I phone Sky to get this looked into?
