HP Deskjet not connecting to Wifi

I never had a problem with connecting my printer on Virgin, but it keeps dropping on Sky. Their tech team have to keep going through troubleshooting with me for hours to reconnect it again. Then it drops out yet again. Today they said this will keep happening because the problem is with sky. They said: [15/06, 11:23] HP Support: Alright it seems that we can not connect the printer to your router. [15/06, 11:23] HP Support: You have to contact the network provider and try to split the bands [15/06, 11:24] HP Support: We need to have 2.4 GHz frequency diffused by the router Help me please as I use this printer when I work from home and it's making my life extremely difficult.

With the older Sky routers you can split the 2.4GHz & 5GHz wireless networks and see if that improves the situation, if it is a Sky Max router then one needs to disable the 5GHz network establishes a connection to the printer and then reenable 5GHz wireless.

Recommend you search the forum for the procedure for splitting the wireless bands for older Sky routers or disabling 5GHz on Sky Max router to establish a connection to the printer, then reenable 5GHz via the Sky App once done.
