Got the latest sky max wifi ,it won’t connect new tv ,signal is worse than old one ,
Had sky max couple of weeks , daughter Sony smart tv has dropped out 4 times from connection and her mob has too ,room is 20 feet from wi fi hub. I've bought a new Samsung tv for my room 20 feet away it won't connect to wifi ,tv can see it but when password is put in it just comes back with disconnected . Signal is worse than last hub in house and speed is abismal and I can't get hold of enyone at sky

@Mattpirate you will have bought Sky's Wifi Max psckage which includes up to 3 pod extenders if you need them but you have to speak to Sky to get these - the first is normally sent outvafter a call butvtge others are only sent after an engineer has checked the set up.
The distance isnt relevant if there is something likeca solid wall between tge devicecand the hub. However I find the white Max hub pretty good so something needs checking out. Sky's lines are pretty busy - the recent wet weather will have increased faults so I have escalated your post to the Sky team who support the forum who should be in touch soon to offer you a private chat session to get this sorted. Keep an eye onnthe forum as if you miss the message just click the chat icon which will be added to the forum pages for you to use.saving a long phone call.
