Got a new router i want to use

Hey there i got the Gigafast + router the Cylinder type one but want to change my router to a 3rd party im in the uk how do i find the PPPoE username/password or is it the same for all routers i just want to be sure before i ring sky. many thanks

@MTOTHEH apparently all City Fibre lines can use. DHCPv6 PD method which doesnt require a password. 
which most third party routers support.

I'm not aware anyone has that information specifically for Sky Broadband over CityFibre circuits (which has only been live for a few months)

For Sky Broadband on Openreach it's 

 

Username: A string of characters followed by @skydsl. For example, anything@skydsl

 

Password: Any string of characters that you choose. For example, 'anything' or 'skybroadband'

@MTOTHEH Have linked my Asus setting's direct on the ONT but it is OR and replaced the SR203 Model, may help for you trying no pppoe and using PD method!
