see why broadband is so expensive now
The current project to get FTTP within reach of 85% of UK addresses by the end of 2026 has a budget in the vicinity of fifteen billion pounds (so something like six new aircraft carriers, or Old Oak Common to Amersham on HS2 ; )
There's typically a limit of £2,800 plus VAT at any individual address before the household is expected to contribute: such properties are outside the 85% target.
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2

They send out contracter to fit box with no line conected.
So far i have had 2 lots of compensation for 30 day failure
Im now on 3rd attempt and they have 3 days left and no sign of a pole
OPENREACH what a bunch of incompetents
Wonder what the maximum amount of times they will pay out compansation is ? at this rate it will pay for the job
