Full Fibre 500 only showing 40.2Mb/s?

@Brandini Have you actually had the Fibre upgrade installed yet, as that still looks like a connection to a fttc copper cable connected hub if indeed that is what you have!

Also run the service checker but watch closely on the start up to see that the information on screen shows your HOME address, it's very quick so you do need to watch. Details about your connection should also match the serial number of your hub!

Do you have an optical network terminal box  fitted  in your  home like this?

If you have an optical network terminal box  then you  have  full fibre broadband to the property  and i  would call sky  about your  problem, I  have  had  full fibre broadband to the property  since  January  last year gigafast  and have never had  any problems, not even  during the storms

Yes we have the box fitted outside, and the box fitted inside. When using 3rd party broadband testing sites such as fast.com, it shows speeds of 450mb+. So the internet speed is all good, however Sky's service checker still shows the old broadband speeds. Guessing it is a visual glitch as our speeds have been near 500mbps since it got installed

I think it is just a visual glitch as we have speeds of close to 500mbps when using 3rd party broadband speed testers. But you know what Sky are like, if there is a problem with the speeds then they want you to use their service checker and not 3rd party ones, even though the 3rd party ones are right and their one is wrong 😂

That can take a while  to change, you could  try uninstalling  the my sky app  and reinstalling  it to see if that helps  otherwise  just  keep an eye on it

@Brandini Yes you should try to get it fixed, may stop you in the future getting an Engineer visit should to ever need one!
