Re: Free upgrade to Sky Full Fibre
Hi Anita16,
I've received the same message etc. and am keen to go ahead, however, suspicion of scam is holding me back...
I spoke directly with Sky customer service - but they were not aware of the "offer".
Have you actually gone ahead with the upgrade - was there any "verification" process involved where you had to provide personal details etc. to get the upgrade organied and installed?
Also, once everything was done, did your bill and contract length stay the same?
Happy to hear of anyone else's experience on this apparent Sky offer.
Many Thanks for your feedback
TD

Re: Free upgrade to Sky Full Fibre
@TilleyD If you called sky and they were unaware off anyone calling you with any such offer etc then you should treat it as a 100% scam call to you! Never give any details, there is a sky Help for any contact that they do make to you so will link that below! Any upgrades etc that are going on you can check the deals etc, account logon follows and then offers are put up if they are matched against your account, otherwise the call to sky Customer Service and they normally fix you up with no problems apart from the time you will be on the phone call! Only black Friday is out just now, but there is the Free Upgrade to Full Fibre that sky is pushing through a few methods to registered customers just now!

Re: Free upgrade to Sky Full Fibre
Yep JimM1,
That's why I was posting on this forum as there are folks on here who seem to have followed through on the "offer" and had no problems - providing links like :-
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/full-fibre-broadband-at-no-extra-cost
Which appears to be Sky backed.
So being cautious, but keeping an open mind.

Re: Free upgrade to Sky Full Fibre
I had a salesman in a sky car come to my house offering me the upgrade!
I knew he was legit when he told me I couldn't have it!
What the hell is the point in visiting an address and offering something the customer can't have?
I told him my next-door neighbour has been upgraded to Sky Full Fibre, but he didn't know why I can't have it!

Re: Free upgrade to Sky Full Fibre
Thanks aac74,
Did the Salesman visit your house after you responded to the "Full fibre broadband at no extra cost" offer to set-up an "Engineer visit"?
