Latency is stable with few spikes which could be down to Windows task switching. But it's hard to tell 100% and I think the best test now is to see whether it drops the connection for other reasons than taking the speed up. Faulty router or different component batch for the new router who knows but if it remains stable then?

Yeah still slightly low throughput but I'd happily stay with that if the connection stays stable. However I have a slight feeling this isnt the end of it

Yeah BQMs dont seem to mean a lot apart from when the connection drops. I'll want to see how it performs over the weekend as it has always been worse on weekends

Any drop this morning with the possibility of DLM adjusting the speed up? If it hasn't dropped the connection I'd be happier for the reliability is more important. Smiley Happy

No nothing interesting going on at the moment, seems pretty stable with the same speed. It's also still running the older firmware so not sure when its going to update that. If it holds the stability over the weekend then I think I'd be happy that the issue may have been the router!

Unfortunatley a slight power outage has interrupted our monitoring. 

Router has synced at almost the same speed again but noise margin has taken a dive.

Looks to be the case, although still doesnt explain the excess errors on the line which limit the throughput, strange since it didnt occur a few months ago.

Looking at the attenuation on the line for it's a little high for a full 80/20Mbps or just below that I'm happy with it myself. The latency would be impacted greatly if it was running too many errors and that isn't the case now but it is running very slight noise for the reason you state.

 

Recommendation keep a close eye on it, but I'm stating stable and that's the most important.

Just when we thought it was stable, dropped out again this morning and have seen a fair amount of packet loss, more than before, on the BQM
