I had fibre broadband installed a few months back and generally it works fine, but every few weeks it disconnects and remains off until it is restarted from the power switch. Therefore any devices connected to it (cameras etc) are offline until the router is manually restarted from the house which defeats the purpose of having cameras installed. Is there any way to have the setup reviewed or tested to increase the reliability of the broadband?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreWhen you say Fibre broadband do you mean FTTP with a white Openreach ONT on the wall?
If so do you need to restart that or your Sky hub to bring the connection back? What lights show on the ONT and your Sky hub?

I keep having this same issue. Never used to happen on broadband but since going onto gigafast fiber i have to restart the router about once a week. Usually goes off through the night but does not come back on.
Not sure if this is a router issue or a problem at Sky's end but its getting really frustrating now.
Although the speeds are impressive they are also not what was guaranteed
