Hi, I'm wondering if anyone else in Ireland who joined sky for their fibre broadband had any issues with installation.
I rang sky in hopes of getting better internet instead of virgin as we have had nothing but issues with them with total blackouts and connection issues in general. I opt for the fibre broadband for the house as I game quite alot.
Sky told me it would be installed on the 5th, got the hub and everything and the guys from Siro came and drilled the holes in the house. Now apparenlty we wait on the esb for the wire to our house. Sky couldn't give me a date for when it will be carried out and I organised with virgin to have the old modem to be shut off the 14-17 of this month.
Anyone in Ireland able to give me a rough estimate of how long it took? Everything in my house runs off internet and I kinda need it. I don't want to be months without internet.
